The spoofed point can not only stand still but also move — on foot, by bike, car or public transport, along real roads, with traffic lights, stops and a realistic speed. Here is how to build a route, load GPX, delay the start, change transport mid-way and what other apps see. Movement simulation is a Premium feature.
Yes, with Premium. The “Movement simulation” button on the map opens the route editor: you put points, the app builds a path along real roads, and the spoofed point travels it by itself — with acceleration, braking, turns and stops.
On foot, bicycle, e-bike, scooter, motorcycle, car and public transport, plus “Hybrid”. The speed is set with a slider up to 200 km/h and is remembered for each mode separately.
Choose the “Hybrid” tile. Between the points in the “Route points” list a leg row appears, for example “↓ 🚗 Car ▾” — tap it and choose the mode for that leg.
Up to 100 points, including the start and finish. The start is placed automatically — where spoofing is now, or at your real location; the rest are added by tapping the map.
Yes. In the “Start” block, choose a delay — 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes — or the “By time” chip, so the app calculates the start for the arrival time you need.
Turn on the “Wait at points” option and choose a duration: 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. The point will stop at every intermediate point of the route, but not at the start and finish.
Open “Movement simulation” and tap “Load GPX”. The point will travel exactly along the line from the file, with its altitude; no internet is needed for this.
Yes. The trip continues from the same spot after closing the app, turning off the screen, rebooting and even updating the app. Only “Finish” and turning spoofing off reset it.
Yes. Along with the coordinates, apps get the speed, bearing, altitude, accuracy and number of satellites — as from real GPS. Steps and sensor data cannot be spoofed.
Most often there is no internet: the route is built by the Yandex routing service. You also need at least two points — otherwise the app reminds you: “Add at least two points”.
Yes, with Premium and when you are signed in: a saved route goes to the cloud by itself and appears on all your devices and in your account on the website. The route cloud works in app versions newer than 1.2.0.
Sign in to your account on the website and open the “Routes” section: it has all “My routes” from the app. Each one has “Open in Yandex Maps” and “Download GPX” — these are Premium features.
That is intentional: a real GPS is never perfectly still, and a point that moves exactly along the line looks artificial. In other apps it smoothly drifts a meter or two off the route and comes back; the map in Mock Location itself draws it exactly on the line.
