Open “Movement simulation” and tap “Load GPX”. The point will travel exactly along the line from the file, with its altitude; no internet is needed for this.

The app takes the track from the file; if there is none — the route; if there is none either — the individual points. The travel mode and speed are chosen as usual. If you edit the points after loading, the route is rebuilt along roads.

The reverse action is “Save GPX”: a built route is saved as a file and opens in other maps and trackers. Details are in the guide on GPX.
