How do “Favorites” differ from “History”?

Favorites are places you saved yourself and named the way you like. History is the points where you turned on spoofing: they get there automatically.

History keeps itself and answers the question “where have I switched to recently”. Favorites are a manual list of permanent points: home, office, a test address in another city.

The favorite mark is tied to a specific entry, not to the coordinates. A practical consequence: if you start spoofing from a favorite place, the history entry that appears will not be marked with a heart, even though their coordinates match — they are different entries. Removing a place from favorites clears the heart on the linked history entry by itself.
