How do I turn mock location off?

Stop spoofing with the button in the app — the coordinates become real immediately. To remove the ability to spoof altogether, set “Select mock location app” back to “None” in developer options.

There are three levels of turning it off, and you should choose by your goal.

The first is to stop the current spoofing. Tap the spoofing button in the app: it turns off, the persistent notification disappears from the shade, and the system returns to real coordinates. The app stays selected in settings, and the next start takes one tap on the map.

The second is to remove the app from the source role. Settings → “Developer options” → “Select mock location app” → “None”. After that spoofing will not start even if the app is open: the system no longer accepts coordinates from it. This is what you need if you hand the phone to someone else or if an app checks whether mock coordinates are left over.

The third is to turn off developer mode itself. Settings → “Developer options” → the switch at the top of the screen. The section disappears from settings entirely; you can bring it back with the same seven taps on the build number. You do not need to uninstall the app for this.

If another app still shows the mock point after spoofing has stopped, it simply keeps the last known coordinate in memory: close it completely and open it again. This case is covered in the question coordinates stayed after stopping.
