Which permissions does the app request and why?

Location — to show your real position and return to it after spoofing stops. Notifications — for the mandatory background service notification. Microphone — only for voice address search and only if you choose to use it.

Location access is needed not for spoofing but for the opposite task: to show where you really are and to return to your real point when spoofing stops. Without it the map opens, but you will not see your own position.

The background permission is requested separately and is needed so that spoofing does not stop when you minimize the app. Notifications are mandatory under Android's rules: a background location service may not run without a persistent notification in the shade.

The microphone is the only optional permission. It is used only when you tap the voice input button, recognition runs entirely on the device, and the recording is not sent anywhere. Refusing it limits nothing except voice search.

The app may also ask you to remove battery restrictions — this is not a permission in the usual sense but a system setting without which the firmware is entitled to kill the background service.
