The real location marker is stuck or has moved to the wrong place

The app itself detects that the position source has stopped being useful and restores it in two steps. Usually it is enough to wait a few seconds or tap the current location button.

A source can formally work but keep returning the same outdated point — for example, when the phone has been lying in a pocket indoors for a long time. In the first step the app makes a separate position request; in the second it fully recreates the subscription to the source. Both steps happen automatically.

Tapping the current location button speeds this up: it both requests the position again and turns camera following back on.

If the marker moved to another city and stays there, it is more likely the unreliable signal case described above — the app will show the corresponding warning and return to the last confirmed point.
