Press a place in Favorites, hold your finger and drag the row up or down. Sorting switches to “Manual” by itself, and the new order is sent to your account.
Dragging works with any sorting: on the first drag the current order on screen becomes the starting manual order, and from then on you move places as you like. Near the edge of the screen the list scrolls by itself. If you lift your finger without moving the row, renaming opens.
Long-pressing the place icon on the left opens the icon picker, not dragging. If you drag a row onto a group chip and release it, the place moves to that group. Manual order, like sorting, is a Premium feature.
