What happens to places saved without an account if I sign in later?

There are two options: send the local places to the account or, conversely, take what is already stored on the server to the phone. The choice is yours — the app shows it explicitly rather than deciding on its own.

This matters for those installing the app on a second phone: the local list there is usually empty, and sync is needed in the “server to phone” direction.
